22/11/2008 | Formula One legend Mark Webber has sustained a serious leg injury after being struck by a car while riding his bike on the Tasman Peninsula. Webber was taking part in day four of the Mark Webber Challenge, which saw contestants cycling to Port Arthur. The racing star is being flown by helicopter to the Royal Hobart Hospital.
22/11/2008 | More than 60 pilot whales have stranded themselves on Anthony Beach near Stanley. It is understood the majority of the whales have died and officers from Parks and Wildlife are at the scene.
