Kelsey Trail Health Region Community Services staff partnered with the Oasis Centre to sponsor a diabetes screening session at the Nipawin Oasis Community Centre Co-op on Friday, May 14. The focus of the event was to improve the health and well-being of those accessing the services of the Oasis Centre.

Dean of Weill Cornell Medical College in Qatar, Dr Javaid Sheikh, yesterday said that a research conducted by the college focused mostly on genetic studies and their relationship with diabetes, heart and other diseases in Qatar which lead to deformities in newborns.
