Jeanne Schrodt, a senior fashion major, believes in a cause near and dear to her heart, and she is going to do something about it. Schrodt will be putting on "Rock the Cure," a benefit fashion show and concert, for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.

The next meeting of the Firelands Regional Medical Center Diabetes Support Group will be 9 a.m. to noon, Monday, March 9 in the Cardiac Rehabilitation Education Room located at Firelands Regional Medical Center's Main Campus, 1111 Hayes Ave., Sandusky.

"Diabetes: Are You At Risk?" will be presented by registered dietitian Isa Carani on from 1 to 2 p.m. March 5 at the Lake County Health Department's North Shore Health Center, 1840 Green Bay Road, Highland Park. The presentation will be in both English and Spanish.

Dundas Community Services hosts a free educational seminar for caregivers and seniors living with diabetes on Monday, March 9 at 3 p. m. at Amica at Dundas, 50 Hatt St.
